Long ago, 16-year-old Markendaya stood at the threshold of the afterworld. Thin was his time on this earth. In a dramatic display of devotion he was rescued from sickness and received the blessing of immortality from Lord Shiva himself.

And thus, the Mahamritunjaya Mantra—better known as the healing mantra–was conceived into the world. We Invite you to join fellow yogis in chanting the healing mantra 108x in support of healing and in acknowledgement of the autumnal equinox.
